Build for Off Road Adventure Ride Updates

2026 Build for Off Road Adventure Ride 1 Overview

We’re excited to officially kick off our 3-part Build for Off Road Adventure Ride with Ian Johnson running June 16-20. The first of two Adventure Rides planned for 2026 will take us from Montrose, Colorado into the legendary trails of Moab, Utah, capturing an incredible amount of content for upcoming episodes, sponsor integrations, and social media coverage along the way.

Behind the Scenes in Kingman, AZ

As the crew reached the end of the last trail in Kingman, we caught up with Ian Johnson, Matt Steele, Willie B, Brad and Adam Lovell, and more to get their unfiltered takes on the trip. Watch the video to hear what the cast and crew had to say after surviving five days of the toughest terrain the Southwest has to offer.

Behind the Scenes in Big Bear with Pierre

This weekend’s Part 2 premiere of the Build for Off Road Adventure Ride promises to be nothing short of epic, as Ian Johnson and the crew tackle the daunting King of the Hammers trails, including the infamous Backdoor obstacle. But before we shift gears and head into the legendary, unforgiving terrain of Johnson Valley this weekend, we wanted to take you even deeper into the Adventure Ride experience with a true “boots on the ground” perspective from one of our crew members.

Dupli-Color Hits the Trail for the Adventure Ride Premiere

The wait is almost over! This weekend, the ultimate test of man and machine hits the small screen as the first episode of the three-part Build for Off Road Adventure Ride special premieres this Saturday, December 20, on MotorTrendTV! Joining the Adventure Ride for the Big Bear kickoff was Dupli-Color’s Brian Suter, who wasn’t just there to represent the brand—he was about to receive a rock-crawling baptism by fire.

Plans Begin for 2026 Adventure Rides

We’re just a few weeks away from the MotorTrendTV premiere of the 2025 Adventure Ride, as man and machine combine to tackle America’s toughest trails in a special, three-part season finale of Build for Off Road. But even as the Adventure Ride rolls out onto TV screens across the nation, plans have begun for next year’s events.
