Go Behind the Scenes of SEMA with the Two Guys Garage Podcast

Oct 29, 2020

Everything seems to be happening virtually this year, and the annual SEMA Show is no exception. Two Guys Garage hosts Kevin and Willie recently took the Two Guys Garage Podcast behind the scenes at SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) with President and CEO Chris Kersting, in the middle of preparations for SEMA360, taking place November 2-6, 2020.

Between the high-caliber builds, new tools and technology, and mind-boggling acreage of aftermarket products on display each year at the Las Vegas Convention Center, Byrd describes the SEMA Show as “Disney World” for automotive enthusiasts and professionals.

So what should we expect from SEMA360, the organization’s new online platform created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic?

“What it’s all about at its most important business core, it’s a marketplace where manufacturers are able to come together with all the cool new products that they’ve been working on in order to get with the resellers,” says Kersting.  “Those folks all want to see what’s there, and bring it out so that next year everybody will have access to the coolest stuff.”

Kersting says SEMA360 will allow the 60,000 resellers who regularly attend the event to virtually experience the newest products and tools in the automotive aftermarket, helping them set up their business for the year ahead.

To find out more about SEMA360 and what SEMA does beyond the annual SEMA Show to support the automotive aftermarket industry, catch the full episode here.
