Oct 30, 2019

Mooresville, N.C. October 29, 2019 – Brenton Productions earlier this year welcomed Chris Crean as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Crean has been driving Brenton’s content partner relationships and leading the company’s business development programs to support client marketing efforts. Brenton Productions provides its clients with unique opportunities to feature their products on major cable networks and streaming services including MotorTrend Network.

“We are thrilled to have Chris as part of the Brenton team,” said Chuck McGonagle, Brenton Productions President. “His knowledge and expertise in television and automotive media has already aided the growth of our company and poised us to serve our clients well into the future.”

Crean brings more than 20 years of experience in television and digital media, including the past nine years at Discovery Networks, where he was a key member of the team that launched and built Velocity (now MotorTrend). While building Velocity, Crean developed the High-Performance Programming Block, a collection of shows tailor-made for mainstream advertising partners and automotive aftermarket sponsors. As a provider of shows for the network’s weekend High-Performance Block, the Brenton Productions team worked closely with Crean to integrate client products and stories into series episodes and prime-time specials.

“Long running Brenton-produced shows, including Two Guys Garage, Car Fix, All Girls Garage and Truck U, deliver large and engaged audiences. Through the association with our high-quality and engaging content, our client partners are provided with unique opportunities to showcase the power of their brands. I am looking forward to continued collaboration with our partners and contributing to the growth and success of Brenton Productions,” said Crean.

In addition to his work at Velocity, Crean has extensive experience in online and digital media, including business development leadership positions at iVillage, Accuweather and Lifetime Television.

Crean is a graduate of the State University of New York Albany with a BA in Communications.
