Melissa Cutlip Joins Brenton Productions to Lead Development Team

Tampa, FL (1/20/2020) – Brenton Productions is excited to announce that Melissa Cutlip has joined our team to lead the development of new content and network relationships.  Building upon its 25-year legacy of creating and producing top-tier automotive content, Brenton’s newly formed development team is looking to build upon past accomplishments and take the company in new and exciting directions.

“Brenton has a strong track record of creating compelling content that features passionate people who are knowledgeable about what they do and are able to share that with their audience in a fun and engaging way,” says Brenton Productions President Chuck McGonagle.  “As we bring that approach to home improvement, food, and other areas of non-fiction storytelling, we’re excited to have Melissa on board to guide the way.  Her expertise, energy, and reputation in this industry are invaluable assets as we venture beyond the automotive space.”

For over 15 years, Cutlip has been developing and producing engaging, buzzworthy content across a variety of genres and formats. Her projects include TLC’s blockbuster hit My Strange Addiction, My City’s Just Not That Into Me for fyi, and MSNBC’s The Squeeze, as well as series and pilots for virtually every major network group in the cable industry including AETN, Discovery/Scripps, National Geographic, and NBC Universal.

“I’m really looking forward to seeing what we can make happen at Brenton,” says Cutlip.  “The team there is full of enthusiasm and creative energy, and we’re working hard to translate that into new projects that expand Brenton’s portfolio.”

Cutlip is President of Violet Media, a Florida-based media sales and consulting firm.
