Success Story: A Problem-Solving Invention Finds a Bigger Audience with TV
As newer vehicles continue to get more technical and less mechanical, not every innovation is being embraced by consumers. Case in point: The Engine Stop-Start (ESS) function that automatically turns your engine off while idling, which has proven to be a major source of annoyance for many drivers.
Frustration with this technology led Travis Lambert to develop and produce the Autostop Eliminator, a plug-and-play device that allows owners to disable the ESS feature of their vehicle.
“With novel solutions like the Autostop Eliminator, general product awareness can be challenging to achieve,” says Travis. “We had some success with search ads and social media marketing, but we wanted to expand our campaigns to include consumers who don’t frequent social media sites or didn’t know a solution was possible.”
“We wanted to expand our campaigns to include consumers who don’t frequent social media sites or didn’t know a solution was possible.”
To help increase brand awareness, Travis partnered with Brenton Productions on some Break Room features in Two Guys Garage and Truck U that really moved the needle.
As Travis explains, “The Break Room features have been very effective at capturing a large portion of this market that we had missed prior to working with Brenton Productions.”
Due in large part to the solid results he’s seen in his first year on the shows, Travis is continuing to grow his relationship with Brenton, introducing new applications using this successful launch pad.
Travis’s experience reflects the findings of a recent Nielsen study, which shows that brands can significantly boost their reach by combining TV and digital advertising.
Adding TV to your marketing plan can seem daunting for small companies and start-ups; however, Brenton Productions works with brands like Autostop Eliminator to find scalable solutions that best meets the needs of that brand.
