Meet the Host
Jewel Marlowe

As a military spouse with personal experience moving her family over a dozen times in the past 20 years, interior designer Jewel Marlowe understands the importance of making a dwelling feel like home. In the course of many relocations across the U.S. and overseas, Jewel developed her eclectic eye for design, collected and restored unique vintage and antique items, and honed DIY skills that allowed her to repurpose furniture and décor from one move to the next.

Whether she’s designing rooms for million-dollar homes in the Washington, D.C. area, or inspiring first-time homeowners with DIY projects, Jewel’s bold, soulful approach to home décor always draws from the homeowner’s personal story. Jewel believes that a home should reflect the interests and passions of those who live there.

Jewel’s work has been seen in HGTV Magazine, Elle Décor, Better Homes and Gardens, Apartment Therapy, Brit + Co, Pioneer Woman, the Washington Post, the Drew Barrymore Show, and many more.

About Homefront Room Revival

Homefront Room Revival was founded by Air Force veteran, military spouse, and entrepreneur Katelyn Tinsley in 2016 to build resiliency and interconnectedness within the military community, while providing families with helpful resources and skills for making their military housing feel like a true home.

Now operating under the banner of Camaraderie in CHAOS, the Goldsboro, North Carolina-based organization provides a supportive space where military families can connect and help each other through stressful moments of military life – like moving to a new base or dealing with a family member’s deployment.

Each Christmas season, their “Dec’ the Deployment®” program helps military families feel the spirit of the holidays, even when missing a loved one. With the help of volunteers from throughout the military community, these “elves” bring DIY décor, homemade treats, and handmade ornaments to families dealing with deployment, filling their homes with festive cheer and a sense of community.
