Our Team

Melissa Cutlip
Development Consultant
For over 15 years, Melissa Cutlip has been developing and producing loud, engaging content across a variety of genres and formats. Her projects include TLC’s blockbuster hit My Strange Addiction, as well as pilots and series for virtually every major network group in the cable industry including AETN, Discovery, National Geographic and NBC Universal. From gritty cop follow docs to shows about people who eat their own couch, her breadth of experience covers (almost) every facet of the non-fiction content landscape. Melissa has a BA in History and an MA in Journalism, both from The University of Michigan.

Lisa Prieto
Director of Development
Lisa brought her experience in live TV production, copywriting, and online content creation to Brenton in 2011. Since then she has worked on all Brenton series including in a leadership role as a producer/director of All Girls Garage; Two Guys Garage; and Live, Love, Wrench for MotorTrendTV and MotorTrend+. In addition to her work in series production, Lisa is a key facilitator of Brenton’s sales of in-show sponsored integrations in Two Guys Garage, Truck U and other Brenton series. A talented writer and communicator, Lisa also leads Brenton’s marketing efforts for both in-show placement business and our development efforts. A native of Indiana, Lisa earned her BA in Communications from Purdue University.

Matt Allegretti
Senior Development Producer
Matt joined the Brenton Productions team in 2005, bringing experience in shooting, editing, and producing. He soon became the producer of Truck U, which he has led for most of its 18 seasons. In 2012, Matt helped successfully guide the transition of Truck U, from SPEED Channel to its current home on MotorTrendTV. In his 16 years with Brenton Productions, Matt has helped launch multiple series, including Car Fix, All Girls Garage, and FourWheeler, for MotorTrendTV and MotorTrend+. In addition to developing new series, Matt supervises Brenton’s post-production team and has directed several of Brenton’s long-running series and prime-time special programs, including the annual SEMA Show special for MotorTrendTV. Matt has a BA in Mass Communications-Broadcast Journalism from University of South Florida.

Katie Alexander
Development Manager
After completing an internship with Brenton Productions in 2015, Katie’s shooting and editing skills and can-do attitude earned her a full-time position with Brenton Productions. Since joining Brenton, Katie has been involved with production and media deliverables for all of Brenton’s current series. In addition to developing new talent and programming, Katie is currently the assistant director and site manager for FourWheeler, an on-location series developed for MotorTrendTV. A Florida native, Katie earned her BA in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida.
