Get Ready for “Helping Hands Garage”, Brenton’s New Automotive Lifestyle Series
“It’s a little bit of a passion project, I’d say, from a couple people here at Brenton Productions,” says Katie Osborne. “And myself included. I just can’t wait to see it hit the air!”
The highly anticipated project in question? Helping Hands Garage, an all-new automotive lifestyle series from Brenton Productions with an empowering and inspirational twist.
Each 30-minute episode of Helping Hands Garage follows motorsports reporter and enthusiast Osborne, professional builder and driver Collete Davis, and their team as they reach out to deserving families and individuals who have experienced recent hardships and misfortune. The team puts their helping hands to work getting cars back on the road for the people who desperately need them, one project at a time.
Osborne, an Indianapolis native, appeared with Davis on WISH TV Indianapolis’s All Indiana news hour to offer a sneak peek behind the scenes of the new series, which is currently in production at Brenton’s Tampa studios.
Hitting the “FAST” Lane with Speedvision
Scheduled to premiere in early 2024, Helping Hands Garage is the first all-original program to be produced for Speedvision, the trusted automotive entertainment and lifestyle brand resurrected in 2022 under the leadership of Robert Scanlon. Available at no cost as a free ad-supported television (FAST) network, Speedvision provides the opportunity for advertisers to intersect directly with a deeply engaged viewership composed of authentic vehicle aficionados.
“’Car people’” represent a massive affinity audience that cuts through every demo,” said Scanlon in a recent interview with Cynopsis, reflecting on the one-year anniversary of Speedvision’s FAST channel launch. “These viewers find car content and leave it on, hence our very high length of tune numbers. We also have a recognizable legacy brand that resonates with this audience and stands out in the streaming landscape. Our programming is very ad-friendly and caters to one for the most lucrative advertising sectors in media, so the FAST format is perfect for Speedvision.”
On Helping Hands Garage, automotive brands are integrated into each episode – but they also play a meaningful part in the story of a family’s special vehicle. Not only are these brands discussed, used, and installed in an informative way; but members of the company are invited to roll up their sleeves and become (what else?) helping hands on the show.
“We’re getting everybody involved!” says Davis, whose crew on each episode includes a wide range of skill, from seasoned industry professionals to young family members who have never picked up a wrench before. “We’re all coming together for one common goal, and that’s where we’re creating even more memories as well.”
“We are thrilled to be collaborating with Speedvision and other industry partners on Helping Hands Garage,” says Chuck McGonagle, President of Brenton Productions, Inc. “Telling the stories of real people while helping them overcome challenges with the automobiles in their lives is a compelling and fulfilling endeavor for our team.”
