What do MADtv, ER, and Truck U all have in common?  While Truck U is responsible for plenty of laughs and more than one behind-the-scenes trip to the emergency room, the real common thread is that all three TV shows have achieved the same milestone:  15 seasons on the air!

With June 2, 2019 marking the premiere of Truck U Season 15 on MotorTrend, hosts Matt Steele and Bruno Massel take a moment to reflect on their memories of trucks, teamwork, and tomfoolery over the years.

As a how-to show dedicated exclusively to trucks, 4x4s and SUVs, Truck U finds monster-truck expert Matt Steele and master mechanic Bruno Massel tackling hands-on projects from DIY maintenance on pickups and SUVs, to serious off-road performance upgrades on Jeeps and ATVs. Matt and Bruno bring humor and fun to the shop, while sharing useful how-to tips on everything from custom paint jobs to metal fabrication.

The series was originally developed for SPEED Channel in 2005 to speak to a quickly growing subculture of truck, Jeep, and off-roading enthusiasts.  In 2014 Truck U found a new home on Velocity, now the MotorTrend network.

Truck U and its hosts, Matt Steele and Bruno Massel, were recognized in 2018 as Influencers of the Year by SEMA’s Light Truck Accessory Alliance (now the Truck and Off-Road Alliance).
