In a brand-new episode of Two Guys Garage premiering on MotorTrendTV this weekend, Kevin and Willie dive into some of the science and technology behind keeping all kinds of vehicles running smoothly. Here’s a look behind the scenes at this weekend’s premiere:

Episode #2107: “All About Fluids & Maintenance”

Fluids and other maintenance products are some of the most overlooked, yet most important, aspects of vehicle ownership. Many vehicle owners often do not check and manage these fluids as recommended by OEM manufacturers.

In this episode, Willie and Kevin use a 2016 Jeep JK to guide viewers through a step-by-step understanding of fluids and some of the associated maintenance needed to keep a vehicle running safely down the road for longer.  Brands like zMAX Micro-lubricant and ValvoMax help get the job done.

Taking time to educate our DIY viewers about fluid maintenance is important.  In a 2020 survey of the Brenton Productions automotive audience, 74% said they perform their own oil changes, and 66% said they replace their own anti-freeze or coolant.

Breaking down why and how to properly maintain oil, coolant, and other fluids offers opportunities to educate viewers on the benefits of products and tools involved in these areas of vehicle maintenance.
